We have been living in the Bay Area for nearly four years now and it's taken us that long to fall in love with San Francisco. I've finally figured out our hesitation. First of all, our trips were nearly always spontaneously planned and with two toddlers. Those two scenarios can be extremely unpredictable, but in our case it became more predictable. Two tired toddlers and two exhausted adults who had no idea where to park our car or where to wander. We were clueless. I, for one, do not like researching the internet for suggestions. I'd much rather be shown where the best places are, whether through a day with friends or personal recommendations.
We are leaving the area so soon, yet it's at this time that we feel comfortable with the city. We enjoy it, even. And it's all because of this beautiful family. Matt, Britta and Peachy are new friends, yet time hasn't seemed to matter. We only just met and feel like old friends and we are leaving soon, and are acting as if we have all the time in the world. Because seriously, how can we leave them? They are true friends. <3
