// A B O O K R E V I E W - T H I S H E A R T I S M E //

 If you have been following along with my blog, then you know I am extremely fond of literature.  Literature in all it's forms.  Poetry, novels, biographies, and obviously, children's literature.  One of my favorite kind of writings are those that are written for both the young, the older and the oldest.  I want to love a book when I'm young and I want to continue loving it throughout my life.  It's a lot to ask, I know.  But so possibly!  (ex. Narnia, Lord of the Rings, The Little Prince, etc)

So, here I am:  writing a book review.  I met Pamela, the author, for the first time a few weeks ago.  However, my husband has known her through his job for a while now and we've technically been instagram "friends" for a while.  I instantly loved her: and was so glad to talk to her because she is seriously my hero for writing her own children's book!  Ever since I heard about it I knew I'd love it.  She wrote it for her daughter Frankie and I can honestly say:  it is incredibly touching and yes, brought a tear to my eye.  (maybe more.)  Her simple illustration of love is anything but- which is why a child can love it, relate to it and want to read it over and over and at the same time, the parent will enjoy reading it as well!  And the illustrations?!  I included a few photos, but since it's short you will have to just go and check it out yourself.  <3  I don't want to give it all away!  But it really is the perfect Valentine's gift for your little one.  I mean, right?!?

One more thing:
The book launch is February 7th.  It will be held right here, in Santa Cruz.  And if you are anywhere near the area please come!  My family and I will be there and we would absolutely love to meet you!  And I know Pamela would as well.  <3 <3 It will be held at Cameron Marks Boutique and will be going on from 5-9 pm.

 If you'd like to purchase her book you can do so here .
