//Where We Wander//

So, I'm starting a new series called //Where We Wander// because let's be honest, we take a lot of walks.  Also, we are a wandering family in general and will probably live in a bunch of different places in our lifetime.  Just being real. ;)

When Elliot is having a particularly difficult day, we will do our usually wander.  We park at Verve, get a coffee and then start the walk down to the point.  We stop for a moment and then walk along east cliff.  We let Elliot walk himself.  He is not a fan of babywearing anymore unless he needs it for some reason, but he honestly doesn't use the stroller much either.  We let him walk.  He has a hard time listening so you would think that would be a terrible idea, and it is hard at times, but I find that even giving him the opportunity to listen or not is great for him.  He may want to do his own thing all the time and pretty much tell me "no" for everything (no is throwing himself on the ground for a good ol' fit) but how is he going to learn if I just strap him a stroller to control him?  Right?  So, we do the harder thing and let him walk.  He is really good with accepting the fact that he has to hold our hand across the street now.  So, that's good. ;)
