//Photography Tips//

I've been meaning to write this post for a while now.  As with all bloggers, photography is an important  part of what I do and I'm always curious what kind of cameras people use, apps, programs to edit, etc.  So, this post is an open forum for you all to tell me what works for you. I always love when I stumble upon those kind of posts- a lot of the tools I use were discovered through them.  So, go- all you fellow bloggers:  What kind of camera do you use?  Or do you just use your phone?  Do you have any special apps you use to edit or do you strictly use photoshop?

I'll go first.

I use a Canon EOS 7d for most of my blog photos.  I use VSCOCAM for my iphone/instagram photos.  I edit using camerabag.   Sometimes, I use Picmonkey for their collage option.  It helps when I am posting a ton of iphone/instagram photos.  I'm so new at all of this, so I feel as if I have a lot to learn.

Side note,  if you are a blogger with kiddos have your littles started to pose for the camera?  Mine are so used to it that it's an automatic "cheeeeeese" face when ever the camera comes out.  Yesterday, a friend took out their camera to take a photo of something else, but Elliot ran over making his classic "cheese" face because well, if a camera was out it must be to take a photo of him!

  1. Nikon D5100! And a few other lenses. My favorite lens is my 1.8! I'd love to upgrade to a nicer camera once I have the extra funds, but until then I'm really happy with the D5100! I use Photoshop and make my own filters or use bought ones to do quick editing.

    1. It's all about the lens. Or so I hear. haha. That is our next step- invest in some more lens. I need to learn photoshop. We have it, but I don't use it.
